It has been almost 300 years since the Jedi Civil war devastated the galaxy, and Darth Revan disappeared into unknown space. In that time, the Republic has known a period of relative peace, and until recently, the Sith had been believed to be destroyed. 40 years ago, the Sith Empire made public it's return, striking first at Korriban, before sweeping across the galaxy. The devastating war came to an end with the sacking of Coruscant, and the subsequent treaty, 10 years ago. The year is now 3643 BBY, and the galaxy is falling apart at the seams. Alderaan and Ord Mantell are embroiled in civil wars, and the Sith Empire have invaded Balmorra. While open war has not been resumed, tensions are high, with both powers supporting opposing sides in these conflicts, in an attempt to undermine and weaken each other. This so-called Cold War is nearing its end, and much of the galaxy knows it. Where will you go, in this war-torn galaxy? What stories will you create? Will you champion the cause of the Republic, or will you strive to see the galaxy burn as a Sith? Note: This server is welcoming to all Star Wars fans, you don't need to be well versed in the Old Republic lore, the admins will help in case something needs to be clarified. Essentially you don't need to be a hardcore fan to join.
